Germana Senzani was born in Milan in 1969.
After attending high school where she specialised in arts she gained her degree in Scenography from “Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera”. She then proceeded to get work experience in the entertainment industry as a costume designer for advertisements , television and cinema. As of 2004 she has dedicated her expertise to sculpting and participated in various exhibitions. In 2007 saw the begin of a collaboration with Pomellato where she sculpted all the DoDo’s for their boutiques. One year later in Florence she showcased a spectacle with the title “ Landing of the penguins” composed of 50 penguins in polychrome clay on a luminescent " Pack Ice ”. A successful event with DoDo in support of the WWF. From 2007 to date she does a big part of their productions for the most important selling points in Italy and the rest of the world, Specific installations that have always given a distinctive and recognisable feature to the spaces in which they were placed. In 2016 she designed the cover of the photo book "Bowie by O'neill", a limited edition collection published after the death of David Bowie by the legendary British photographer Terry O'neill. |
